No matter what stage of your anaesthetic career you are at, A-LiNE has a course to suit you. From new starters in anaesthesia to experienced consultants, we offer a range of courses to elevate your skills and knowledge.

New Starters

For those new to anaesthesia and acquiring core skills and knowledge.

Stage 1

Courses to assist in the accumulation of Stage 1 competencies and towards the Primary FRCA.

Stage 2

To develop as a Stage 2 trainee in subspecialty areas and towards the Final FRCA.

Stage 3

For those in the final stages of training and developing skills for a consultant role.

Continuous Professional Development

For those looking to develop their skills. Appropriate for all levels of experience but particularly focussed on those outside of a formal training programme.

About A-Line Logo

Since it's establishment in 2017, A-LiNE has grown from a regional training organisation into a provider of anaesthetic training for healthcare professionals around the world. We offer courses to students, specialty doctors, consultants and allied healthcare professionals on topics ranging from presentation and interview skills to exam courses and careers in anaesthesia.

Based in the North East of England, A-LiNE has created a hub of excellence in anaesthesia education - drawing on the region's expertise alongside internationally-renowned experts to produce high-quality events and courses. Our DigitalHub team add expertise in online delivery of education to broaden our audiences worldwide.

We take pride in our ability to develop the leadership, presentation and teaching skills of our faculty by providing them with opportunities to contribute to our suite of courses.
