Introduction to Obstetric Anaesthesia

This 2 day practical simulation course is aimed at current CT2 trainees and those starting CT2/CT3 ACCS who will be about to undertake their initial obstetric module. 

This course will give you the skills and confidence needed to commence supervised practice in Obstetric Anaesthesia.

  • Introduction to spinal and epidurals in obstetrics
  • Practical spinal and epidural analgesia insertion
  • Practical general anaesthesia in obstetrics
  • Management of critical incidents in obstetric anaesthesia
